Terms & conditions

Last updated 9 August 2026.

1. Acceptance

By using PDFine you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms occasionally; continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.

2. The service

PDFine provides document tools that execute in your web browser. File processing happens on your own device. We do not receive, store or inspect the contents of the documents you open in the app.

3. Accounts

Some optional conveniences require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use PDFine to process material you have no right to handle, to infringe intellectual property, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or overload the service or the systems of others.

5. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Features may change or be withdrawn. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that output will be free of errors.

6. Your documents

You retain all rights to your files. Because processing is local, you are solely responsible for keeping your own backups before running any operation that modifies a document.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFine is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss or corruption of data arising from use of the service.

8. Contact

For questions about these terms, contact hello@pdfine.example.

PDFine is an independent demo project and these terms are provided as a template rather than legal advice.
